I try to go more for uniqueness more than overall usefulness. I'm just like that.

my last few heroes have had some really unique spells so you cant rly say anymore that my spells are "simple" btw simple is sometimes the way to go

Simple passive.. Maybe, but not simple castable spells, because if your like, shoots a holy beam, and just use holy light, it'd look like I am a crappy map maker.

You can have at least one of those, but it can't be noticeable, like make impale have falling fireballs and make them not launch people into the air... people would not know how you did that.
